Okay, so I know I call myself a ‘writer’ and all, but during the month of November and Nanowrimo, I certainly don’t feel like one. It’s day three of the challenge and I already feel like I’ve failed. I have yet to reach my word count goal for the day and doubt at this point I ever will, even though I spend HOURS on the computer. And what, you ask, is my word count? 1,341. You mean I still have 300 more words to write? How? I CAN’T SEE ANYMORE!
I have the bloodshot eyes to prove it people!

In fact, at this very moment, I am sitting here with the screen brightness turned almost off, and wearing sunglasses. I have 20/20 vision, but the glare is killing me. Anyone have any tips to make this whole writing thing less painful?
Little desperate here.
