Good News Bandwagon

First off, let me apologize to you all for not posting sooner. I was sent BACK to the hospital ON THE IDES OF MARCH no less! with another bout of Ulcerative Colitis.  The last two months have been a sick haze for me, but not to worry, the ‘Good News Bandwagon’ has just pulled into town!

Hop on board!

The first good news I received was from my new GI doc. Although my Ulcerative Colitis had spread, he didn’t think my old GI doc was treating me properly, and he prescribed two new medicines, which, wonder of wonder, are actually working! After 6 years of feeling miserable all the time, I’m actually starting to feel like a human being again!  Yippie!!!

As a result of the first bit of news, it now means I’ll actually be able to get my butt back in the chair and back into the sequel so many of you are waiting for.  It’s killed me not to have the energy to write, but it’s coming back baby!

During this time in the hospital in a drugged state, I also offered a two day give away of the kindle version of Pulled (which you can now still get free because of something I’ll tell ya about in a sec).  In the course of two days I gave away close to 5,500 copies.  Just floored.

Then, on the day I get back from my follow up with m wonderful  GI doc, I discovered that Pulled had made it to the quarterfinals of the Amazon Breakthrough Young Adult Novel Award. From 5,000 down to 250!  So now, Amazon is offering up Pulled AGAIN for FREE as a perk of being a quarter finalist!  You can get your free copy by clicking HERE.

I’m starting to think the saying that March comes in like a Lion but goes out like a Lamb is true, cause after the start of this month, I’m looking forward to curling up in some soft and fuzzy feelings!
