There seems to be a point in a writer’s career where one of their books just ‘takes off’ for some bizarre reason. You read about it all the time when authors will just say “I don’t know what happened, it just sort of exploded…I didn’t do anything to generate that number of sales.” This phenomenon is currently happening with my friend Amy Miles’ book Forbidden. She’s been in two top 100 paid sales for weeks now! Amazing! I cracked the top 100 once, but only during a give away.
Like a girl at prom wishing someone would ask her to dance, I’m still waiting for my take off moment.
So I ask, all you super sellers, what’s your secret. I want in. 🙂
