So in three weeks I’m supposed to be ready to put ‘Pulled Back’ onto the virtual shelves. Will I be ready?
Yes.
I think so.
Probably.
It depends.
The book is now out and in the hands of some trusted Beta Readers. What if they hate it? What if they find a million things wrong with it? What if I made a HUGE plot mistake? What if it doesn’t make any sense? What if the story is just not good?
My fears calmed a TAD when I had two very close friends give it a once-over, and surprisingly, they both were engrossed and gobbled it up. I’m taking that as a good thing and not just my friends being nice. One of these readers was a teen and the other…well, older, like myself. Both seemed to really enjoy it, so I can only hope you will too. (Pretend you like it even if you don’t, m’kay? Like Rhianna, I love the way you lie)
That means, in these next few weeks, I have to go over my beta reader’s replies, format the final, final, draft on createspace. Get the cover done, (according to createspace’s persnickety demands) then promote like crazy. Too bad that’s the part I SUCK at!
If you don’t hear from me, it’s not cause I don’t love ya, ’cause I do. (awwwwwwwwwwwww) I’m just in the throws of trying to get a book out while still doing the other million things I have to do since I haven’t made enough money on said books to quit my job yet! ha!)
