For those of you not on facebook, you may not have heard that my husband of 11 years and I separating. It is a difficult time for both of us which is why I have been absent in the online world for a bit. I’ve been busy packing and moving into the house that I will be sharing with a girlfriend of mine. It’s not much, but it’s a start. My kids, so far, seem to be handling things well. Their father just got them a kitten (another one on the way) so they are in 7th heaven, and I couldn’t be happier that he’s done that for them.
At the moment, I am surrounded by empty boxes and a desk that needs uncluttering (oy). I haven’t written anything in over a week and it’s starting to itch to come out. I am almost to the point were I can pick up work on the next book I’m working on with Amy Miles. (NETHERWORLD)
In the meantime, I’m adjusting to life with my new roomie and her 3 year old son. I have yet to come to come to terms with the fact that she doesn’t own a microwave.
HOW DOES SHE COOK ALL THE FOOD???
Or the fact that she’s a vegetarian and eats…wait for it….VEGETABLES! I did, however, draw the line when she told me she didn’t have a coffee maker.
I changed THAT real fast. No coffee, no wakee.
I may post pictures of my new digs, if I ever get it all unpacked. In the meantime, be warned, the Danielle press machine is once again in full swing.
