Can I just say… THANK YOU?

I know life is super busy so I’ll keep this short and sweet. I just wanted to take a few minutes to say THANK YOU. Thank you for reading my blog. Thanks for buying my books (if you do.) Thank you to those who leave reviews, not just for my books, but for any that you read. Reviews are SO important to a book’s success. Thank you for supporting indie authors both financially and via word of mouth.

I’m running out of room!

My reader base may be small, but you are mighty. Whether you know it or not, you are the reason I’m still writing. Seriously. I can’t tell you the number of times a review, or one of you sending me a message on social media about how something I wrote spoke to you has fed me over the last ten years. It just happened with an ARC review of Where You Left Me, Vol. 2. I was wondering if I should bother finishing the series or not. Then an ARC reader reached out to tell me how much she loved it. Loved reading about Shawn and Jasmine. It reminded me why I wanted to write this series in the first place. It put my but back in the chair.

It is because of your support like that, that I have continued writing. No joke. If not for your support and eagerness for whatever my next book was going to be, I would have quit years ago.

Never underestimate the power of your words to make a difference in someone’s life. Especially in creative types who are plagued with crippling self-doubt when they share their art. Your kind words in a review or message can put me back in the chair faster than any paycheck ever could.

So, thank you. Sincerely.
