10 ways to NOT do a Book Release

Perhaps some of you have noticed that I’ve been working on a little book trilogy. (Insert heavy dose of sarcasm here) When I finished the ‘final draft’ of Pulled Back Again, I set myself a release date. Friday the 13th. I’m not a superstitious person, so what could go wrong?

1. Get a TON of bloggers to share your links

1. I asked 3 & a few friends *face palm

2. Host an Epic give away of your SWAG

WHAT DID

2.  I did this… but (See #3)

3. Have $ in your account for promotions on FB

3.   I had 2 bucks in my account.

4. Have print copies of the new book to give out

5. Send post cards pimping the release date

6. Give out lots of Advance Reader Copies

7. Make sure Amazon doesn’t hate you.

A full week AFTER my release date the book is live (thank you draft2digital for doing what Amazon couldn’t seem to figure out)

  1. Just to let you know, I ordered a paper copy from Amazon a few days ago and it arrived yesterday. Unfortunately, my computer (or should I say my operating system) is not Kindle friendly.
